I was so sorry to hear of Juna’s death. She was a dear friend for many years. I spent much time under her roof as a teen and in my college years. The spare bedroom became known as my room for a few years. I knew she was having health issues and spoke to her every week since March and then one day she didn’t answer the phone. I guess I know why. My heart goes out to Alan and family, Myrna, and Doris and Harris. My sympathy and prayers are with you all in this difficult time. When restrictions are lifted I will be down to say my goodbyes. Love to you all and God bless.

Joan and I are remembering you folks in the family during your time of grieving for Juna. Certainly she was a faithful handmaid of The Lord, and did much to help and encourage those whose lives she touched.. So many of our friends are gone now, but we do not sorrow as those who have no hope.” When we all see Jesus, we’ll sing and shout the victory!” May the peace of Christ be with you. Love in Christ, Dean & Joan Annis

I couldn’t believe it when Alan called me with the horrible news of his mother’s passing.
Juna was like a second mother to me during my teen years. I shared many a meal with Juna, Royce and Alan. A few times those meals happened right after Alan and I had a meal with my family, as we ate at five and the Martins ate at six.
My deepest condolences to her family and extensive group of friends.

Jeff & Carolea Kaulback
Carolea and l were saddened to hear of Juna’s passing. To Alan and his family, as well as Doris, Harris and Myrna, we send our virtual hugs and actual love in this time of loss and forced separation. I remember considering Juna as a second mother in my youth and beyond because she treated me with such love, inclusion, generosity and encouragement. Just today, in reading these other condolences, I’m learning that many others, including Carolea, experienced her in the same way. That speakes volumes about the giving heart, spirit, and attitude that Juna radiated all her life and explains the cherished role she held in her church and communities, in fact where ever she went. We so enjoyed her hugs, mischievous grin and infectious humour. She will be missed until we see her again.

Dear Myrna, Doris, Harris and Alan:
My greatest memory of Juna will be her always beautiful smile when we met, wherever and whenever it was, and
a friendly conversation. A lady who stood out and expressed herself beautifully. . Shortly after I retired (1990), attending
a church service at North Br., she sat next to me. In singing one of the hymns and and as I sang Bass ( My Dad taught me) and following the service, Juna said your going to join the N.Q Mens Choir. . I did join, and she and the choir was one of the most enjoyable times of my years with the group, Great memories will always remain. Only four of the members of 16, are still living . Thanks Juna for being so much for everyone in your life. God,s blessing with you in heaven. With my sincere sympathy to all.
Glen .
