Dear Elsie,Jane and Susan,
We were saddened to hear of Alan’s passing. but realize the past few years were difficults ones with his failing health.
We celebrate all the “fun” times we had with Alan in Woodlawn United Church and later in Liverpool and Dartmouth. He had a dry
wit and a contagious sense of humour. We will miss him
He made an excellent contribution to the life of the Church in every congregation of which your family was a part.
Sorry we cannot attend the funeral due to committments here in Truro, but our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love, Sandy and Lila

Mrs, Martin, Sue, Bob, Scott, Lauren and Jane:
I wanted to let you know that we are all thinking of you. Over the years I have heard many stories of going to Liverpool to visit Grandma and Grandpa and I know Scott and Lauren are going to miss him. I only met Mr. Martin in the last few years but was always struck by what a kind, gentle person he seemed to be. It was easy to tell that he loved all of you very much and that he was very proud of his family. We’ll be thinking of you while you mourn his loss and celebrate his life – take care – Anne-Marie
