Dear Mansfield Family,
We had the pleasure of knowing Darrell for the past 10 years and when we met at Hibernia, we immediately felt like we knew him forever….. he grabbed a rake and helped us with the yard work. He was a kind hearted, soft spoken ,fun loving soul. Hope he is resting under a big shady tree with the sun shining on his face. Gone too soon my friend …. you will be remembered with a smile. Hugs to all of his family.

Annie and Reide, I didn’t know Darrell well, he came back to the campground a couple times. Last time he removed the motor out of Dave’s motorhome, slick as anything, pitty bobbity boo, no problem. I remember him being a big guy who knew what he was doing, humble, and funny, and strong. I can’t imagine your grief, or what Carrie is dealing with, there just aren’t words. I hope the pain subsides and the memories help heal your pain. The pain will never go away, but hopefully it’ll get easier. Thats what Mom told me before she passed. Take good care.
