Me and my daughter’s, Doreen and Janet ,had a wonderful visit with Aunt Marie when we were in NS in 2010. At that time she was still bright and we enjoyed her wonderful sense of humour. She was always a hard worker and very faithful to her beliefs. Now she has gone to her reward.
Our sincere sympathy to those she has left behind to mourn.

I to have fond memories of Marie like milking the cows, making hay, throwing pulpwood into the Mersey river,

My sincere condolences to the family. Remember the good times as a child coasting on the bumps in front of Marie’s house. She would come out and coast with us. She and Ennos drove the cows past our house each morning and night and we would ride on the horse wagon when it passed by. Marie was a fun loving and caring person, didn’t matter to her that we were just kids. Our sympathy and prayers to the entire family.

My sympathy for your loss of Marie. My dear Aunt Marie.. How I loved her and credit her to this day for the values to live by she taught me by example. She was always there for me if ever I needed her or her support. I became a life long animal lover because of her as well as squiring my love of farming and nature. She was a very strong wise woman and I am proud to be her niece. She was my mentor my role model and my friend as well as my loving aunt. It has been many years since I have been home to Milton and a few years I ago I was mistakenly informed that she had already passed away..Seeing her obituary today was a great surprise and filled me with sadness that I didn’t see her in her last years. My loss. I am sure she is with my Mom Ada and the rest of her sisters and brothers catching up on the news. I’ll cherish my memories always. RIP Marie

Mrs Legge was a lovely lady.
Many springs I hauled top soil for her garden,
she always gave me a big hug.
She will be sadly missed.
May she rest in peace.
