Jamie R.M. Kempton

Kempton – Jamie R.M., 61, of Charleston, Queens County, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2024 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, NS.
Born in Halifax, Jamie was a son of the late Harvey and Roberta (Robart) Kempton.
Jamie was a welder by trade and enjoyed being outside cutting wood and doing small projects. He had built his own house at one point then sold it for more land and built a cabin with a brook running though the property.
Jamie is survived by his daughter Krystal and his son Benjamin, both of Mill Village. His grandchildren Stacy Taylor and William Silver. His brother David of Greenfield.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. No flowers by request, donations may be made to any charity. Online condolences may be made below.
