
Keddy – Philbert W, 72, of Danesville, Lunenburg County, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 30, 2023 in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.
Born in Liverpool, Phil was a son of the late Milford and Elena (Conrad) Keddy.
Phil worked for the former Bowater Mersey Paper Company Limited in Brooklyn for many years as a millwright. Following this, he was a courier driver for Altimax, TDR and MBW and was a long haul truck driver for Classic Freight. In his spare time, Phil enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son in law, Rob. He loved animals as well as playing sports, particularly ball, collecting old cars, attending car shows and loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
Phil is survived by his companion Sadie Roberts; his daughter Tiffany (Robert) Pellerin, his son Jonathan; step daughter Toni Roberts (Jason Eisnor); Step son Joe Roberts. His thirteen grandchildren, Austin, Jenna, Matthew, Mallory, Caleb, Jacob, Nonie, Daniel, Jayce, Tanner and Emma as well as two he wasn’t fortunate enough to meet. His one great grandson Odin. His brother Richard (Betty Ann).
Besides his parents, Phil was predeceased by his brother Bradford.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. At Phil’s request, there will be no funeral service. No flowers, donations may be made to a children’s charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
