JOUDREY – Ruth Lorraine, age 88, of Timberlea, NS. It is with great sadness, that we the family announce Ruth’s passing at Northwood Care Facility, Halifax, NS, on Sunday, July, 30th, 2023.
Born in Liverpool, N.S., she was a daughter of the late Russell Lawrence and Gertrude Pearl Dauphinee (Nickerson).
Ruth is survived by her daughter Jill (Perry) Armstrong of Timberlea, NS; sons Dale Joudrey of BC, Peter of Halifax, William T. of Bridgewater and Paul of Halifax; grandsons Christian (Ellie) son Leo of Quebec, William Crag (5th) and Brian (Dianne) Armstrong of Halifax; granddaughters Terri-Lynn and Melissa both of Quebec; great granddaughters Shyanne, Elana Belle both of Truro, NS, great grandsons Cole and Nathan both of Halifax; brother Russell Lawrence Dauphinee Jr. of Prospect, NS.
Besides Ruth’s parents, she was predeceased by her husband William Ottis Joudrey and daughter Tina Louise Joudrey.
Arrangements have taken place under the direction of Chandler’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. Private burial has taken place, at the United Baptist Church Cemetery, Liverpool, NS. Sorry to hear about your Mothers passing. I really only met her once ,I believe , and that was at her husbands funeral .
I worked with your Dad for many years at Dartmouth General . I also met his twin boys there . And Ruth and I sent Christmas cards over the past few years.
