Joseph Archibald Joudrey
October 29, 1946 – May 10, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph on May 10 at the age of 75.
Born to the late Raymond and Thelma (Dexter) Joudrey, Joseph grew up in Bangs Falls before moving to Ontario to work as a young man. He later returned to Queens County where he worked for various companies operating heavy equipment until his retirement at the age of 65.
Joe loved to repair and build things and spent many hours in his garage building his race truck. Many of his happiest memories were of time spent at the drag strip talking to friends who shared his love of classic cars and trucks. During his later years, you would find Joe at the local convenience store or fast food establishment enjoying a coffee and talking to friends.
Joe is survived by his son Paul and family in Ontario, sister Dianne Mansfield of Westfield, brothers David (Bonnie) of Westfield; Wade (Jane) of Chelsea and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Joe was predeceased by his son Wade, sisters Christine Anthony and Annie Mansfield as well as several nieces and nephews.
Keeping with Joe’s wishes, we will be saying goodbye in a very private and simple manner. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private graveside service for immediate family will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Greenfield and District Fire Department or Pine Rest Cemetery, Greenfield. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com

My condolences to Joe’s family,We in Bangs Falls certainly missed him after he decided to move to a retirement place in Milton. If ever I needed help or advice on anything mechanical he would offer his advice or tell me to go to someone who does know. He still let us know when he was out checking his house as would always toot his horn when passing by. I do know that he was part of our church family as well before he moved, and was welcome whenever he had the opportunity to come join us..May he rest in Peace, and know that he will be missed, Carolyn Hudson

We loved seeing and talking to Joey at church and other functions in Greenfield. He was so knowledgable about the community and made us laugh with his stories. We really enjoyed his company and knew time would go fast when we were with him. We did not know he was sick as we had spoken at Christmas and he never said he was ill. He was a kind soul who will be missed. Our prayers are with his family.
