Hazel Avis Jollimore

JOLLIMORE – Hazel Avis, 95, of Liverpool, Queens County, NS., passed away in Surf Lodge, Lockeport, NS. Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
Born in Milton, Hazel was a daughter of the late Montford and Avis (Fancy) Robar.
Hazel was a former employee of the IGA, where she worked in the bakery. She was also a Rural Route driver with Canada Post, serving Hunts Point. Hazel enjoyed curling, knitting, playing darts at Mersey Branch #38 Royal Canadian Legion, Liverpool, NS. was a member of the Red Hatters Society, Trinity Anglican Church of Liverpool and Order of Eastern Star.
Hazel is survived by her daughter Lorraine Fitzpatrick of Hunts Point, NS; son Robert of Ontario; grandchildren Rhiannon of Milton and David (Nicole) Hatfield of Dartmouth; great granddaughter Jordan Hurshman; sister Gladys (Mrs. Bickford Cook) of Cambridge, Kings County, NS.
Besides her parents, Hazel was predeceased by her husband Reginald, sisters Maizie McCoombs, Elva Dalby and Faye Doubleday, brothers Edward, Osborne, Samuel, Reginald and one brother in infancy.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral home, Liverpool. At Hazel’s request, a private family graveside service will be held at a later date. No flowers. Donations to your charity of choice. Online condolences may be made below.
