Hupman- Robert Dale “Bob”, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10th, 2020, at Queens Manor, Liverpool, Nova Scotia.
Born on November 29th, 1936, in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Wilbert and Dorothy (Clarke) Hupman.
The youngest of five he lived with his mother Dorothy Hupman in Summerville Queens County. He was witty and loved to laugh and make others laugh and he was good at it! Bob loved listening to and singing the country classics, when he was young his record player never stopped! He enjoyed being in the woods with his father Wilbert Hupman and helping with the chores. Uncle Bob had a nick name for most people he knew well and some he didn’t know so well! Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Bob had great respect for him and without a doubt would have a Bob story. He was “ one of a kind” and he will be deeply missed! He lived at Hillsview Acres for many years before the Manor became his home.
Besides his Manor family, Bob leaves many nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Elaine Hupman who will never forget him!
Besides his parents he is predeceased by brothers George, Gladwin, Elmer, and sister Elsie Veinot.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th, 2020, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., all from Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Reverend Russell Prime officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Port Mouton. Family flowers only, donations may be made to the Queens Manor or to Hillsview Acres. To Bob’s Family….my heart is truly broken with the passing of Bob…he lived a good and happy life thanks to his family…he touched so many lives over the years, and will always be remembered for the kind and gentle man that he was. I sure hope they had Patsy Cline playing when your family met you at the Pearly Gates. I was so blessed to have you in my life for the past 17 plus years. Spread your wings and Fly High with the Angels…
Feel no guilt in laughter, he knew how much you cared.
Feel no sorrow in a smile that he is not here to share.
You cannot grieve forever: he would not want you to.
He’d hope that you could carry on the way you always do.
So, talk about the good times and the way you showed you cared,
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared.
Let memories surround you, a word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day,
That brings him back as clearly as though he were still here,
And fills you with the feeling that he is always near.
For if you keep those moments, you will never be apart
And he will live forever locked safely within your heart.
Loved and missed Xo
