
HARRINGTON; Donna Lee, 74, of Brooklyn, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on August 8th, 2012 with her family by her side.
Born in South Brookfield, Queens County, she was a daughter of the late Bentley and Faerlie (Davison) DeLong.
Donna loved animals, especially her dog “Charlie” and enjoyed sitting and watching the birds, but her greatest love, since the age of 14, was her husband Allen and her family. She loved to dine out, camping and family get-togethers. She also enjoyed time in her “office”, having coffee and chatting with her best friend Shirley.
She is survived by her husband Allen, her daughters Dawn (Gary) Roberton of Brooklyn, Vicki (Bob) Roach of White Point, and her son Daniel (Donna Silmarie) of Eagle Head. One grandchild and one great-grandchild. Her sisters Lynn (Jack) Conrad of Brooklyn and Marion (Colin) Lohnes of Lahave.
She was predeceased by her brother Orlando “Lanny”
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A celebration of Donna’s life will be held at her home, 12 Markland Avenue, Brooklyn on August 15th, 2012 from 4 until 8 p.m. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Queens Branch of the SPCA.
