To the family of Ralph,
My condolences to you all. Ralph was a lot of fun to be around whether he was playing darts which he took very seriously and loved to win. Or if he just dropped by to have a yarn with my mom and step dad. When Sayward was in hospital just before he passed on, Ralph came into dads room quite often, even though he could not speak, he and dad had a lot of laughs as dad would tell stories of the things he and Ralph did together. It was a true fun friendship that went back a few years. RIP Ralph you will be missed.

Go ahead swing it to me,
Make sure it goes up high,
So I’ve got a chance to grab it,
When it comes down and hits my thigh.
It was the summer of 69,
I was all of but 13,
Was given permission to hop up on,
My favourite uncle’s pop truck,
Show how tough I could be in the sun.
We’d be going up and down Pleasant,
Slinging cases of Pepsi then some Coke,
Never heard that much complaining,
Even though we often spoke.
I was just a skinny teenager,
But it meant a lot to me,
To be thought of as a friend to,
A great guy, I’d like to be.
We hadn’t been close like that,
Really ever since,
But I knew I’d always remember ,
That fine forever snapshot,
Even if it was just a glimpse.
So long Ralph, I’ll never forget you. Barry Brown

i am so sorry to hear of Ralph’s passing. hugs to you all. the one thing that i thought of when i heard was that he and dad are having a great yarn about hunting, fishing and the pepsi plant, although i know that dad wouldn’t be saying much as usual and Ralph is talking his ear off. i always talked to Ralph when i went to visit dad at the hospital and the Manor, i had the feeling that he knew me the way he looked at me and i hope that he did.
