I knew Debbie in school and she was always full of life, always had a smile or a hardy laugh. She loved a good joke. She was so beautiful both inside and out and she will be dearly missed by her daughters and grandson, plus all that had a privilege to know her. Rest easy Debbie and know your memory will live on. Love from a friend of many.

Kimberly, Meagan and Kaleb, I was so shock to hear of Deb’s passing. She had so many up and downs in her life, but one thing for sure she loved you girls so much. The day you both came into her life was the happiest I ever saw Debbie. Kaleb when you were born, your nana was beaming from ear to ear. There was no one who could love you more than your nana. She was so proud of you.

Susan, Danny and Mathew, Debbie loves you all, but the Fabry’s took away her light in her eyes. She would do anything thing for any of you, that’s how much she loved you. But like the rest of us, she never told you.

    My condolences to you all.

Deb you are now free of pain, so go spread your wings and enjoy the freedom God has chosen for you. Though you were taken at a young age, God had special plans for you. R.I.P. cousin Debbie. I will miss you sending me notes of Mickey Mouse.

” Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pour through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.
A look at the stars, a touch of a hand……… you are wished whatever comforts you. You are wished what brings peace to your heart. ”

When we visited with Deb Vaughn could not leave without a hug and telling her he loved her. I believe a lot of us felt the same way. She was my best friend, we would giggle and laugh about some of the dumbest things. We had made plans for Jan. 20th, just the two of us. Now my friend we’ll never know what we may have done with a whole day and no one to bother us. Still finding it difficult to accept. We loved you Deb and there will never be another YOU! To Meg, Susan and K just remember everyone loved her and thought the world of her. I know you all will feel the loss for a long time. My heart is with you all at this time. Debbie you are now free of pain, so fly high, now you will see Mom& Dad again they know how much you loved them. Be at Peace my friend.

My dear friend Debbie we were only able to get together a few times a year when I lived in NS, however it was like not a day passed in between. We have so many wonderful memories in the books. We had such a great time together when you came to see me in Alberta in 2017. Its been a long time since we laughed together like that. Today is new year’s eve and we won’t have our traditional chat tonight, over the phone that is. You may have to wait for several years before I join you. Take care my friend, you will not be forgotten

    Dear Megan and Kaleb

I am very sorry to hear about your mom and grand mom. She was a strong woman that faced many battles in her short life. She did her very best to face every thing head on. When she was at the school we had many talks. Sometimes life isn’t fair but we have to take what it throws our way and make the best of it. Deb did that everyday of her life. Megan and Kaleb take strength in the knowledge that she loved you and always did her very best for you. Be strong for each other and remember her with a smile in your heart.

You will be missed, my old friend.

Although life and time had distanced us, I fondly remember so much from over the years. The snowstorm adventure treks as a kid from West Berlin to Milton; the hair highlights in many a basement/kitchen chair; beach walks and seaglass treasures; so many bonfires at every damn place you lived; tears and laughter over many clinking Labatt’s; yard sales (both had and swarmed); swims in the rivers/beaches/lakes; dancing in halls and bars all over the maritimes; quiet times reading side-by-side; hugs when needed or just when assumed. Laughter and music, always.

To all of those that connected with Deb in any capacity (and especially to Meagan, Kim and Kaeleb), I extend my sincerest warmth. She will be missed; may you always remember.
