
GIFFIN – Opal L., 61, of Liverpool passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Monday, January 12, 2015.
Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Florence (Oickle) Rafuse.
Opal was an active supporter of the Queens S.P.C.A. and helped foster kittens. She enjoyed the beach and clam digging and gardening.
She is survived by hers sons Devin (Penny Whynot) of Brooklyn; Dale (Crystal) of Edmonton, AB, grandsons Cameron and Kyle, sisters Ruby Schrader of Bridgewater and Molly (Bill) Dauphinee of Liverpool, brothers Paul (Lynn) of Windsor, ON., Stephen (Lynn) of Western Head.
She was predeceased by her brothers Murray, Rufus, Billy and Winford.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. At Opal’s request, there will be no funeral service. No flowers by request, donations may be made to Queens S.P.C.A.. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com

I remember when we were at my house and she pierced my ears by using a potato and a needle.
