Georghiou;

Georghiou, Pamela Marie, 65, of Port Medway, passed away Monday, June 6th, 2011, in The Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.

Born on January 25, 1946, in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Howard Verne and Esther Pearl (Parnell) DeLong.

She is survived by her husband Christopher; sister, Eleanor Connolly, of Brooklyn, Queens County; brothers Robert (Barbara) DeLong, of Liverpool, Stephen (Barbara) DeLong, of Lower Branch; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother in law Ronald Connolly.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 13, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., from the Old Meeting House, Port Medway. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Queens General Hospital Foundation. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.chandlersfuneral.com

    It is a long time since we were together, but I will always remember Pam’s wonderful courage during her long illness. The internet kept us close, and she was an inspiration to us all. She never once complained and was determined to beat it.
    She is at peace now Chris and it is you who has the pain. My whole family shares your grief and hope you will find comfort in your happy memories of your dear wife.
