
GARDNER – David Wayne, 71, of Dayspring, NS, passed away peacefully in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.
Born in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Sydney and Ruth (Oickle) Gardner.
David worked for many years first at Canadian Tire, then at a car dealership in Ontario before returning to Nova Scotia after his retirement.
He is survived by his sisters Brenda (Ellsworth) Roache of New Germany; Heather (Blake) Lowe, of Brooklyn. His brothers Ronald (Katherine) of New Germany, Richard (Patsy) of Milton, George (Audrey) and Frank (Peggy), both of Brooklyn.
David was predeceased by his wife Mia and his brother Douglas.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bog Road, Liverpool. Reverend Judy Cross officiating.
