
Freeman; James Parker, age 76, of Dayspring, Lunenburg County, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023 in Riverview Enhanced Care, Dayspring.
Born in Liverpool, Jim was a son of the late Malcolm and Elsie (Parnell) Freeman.
Jim was a kind and gentle soul with a beautiful heart. He was a former resident of Hillsview Acres in Middlefield and spent his last 40 years at Riverview Enhanced Care in Dayspring where he had many lifelong friends and was loved by all who knew him. Jim had a passion for horses, cars, books, camping and going for long drives. He was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Jim is survived by sisters, Debbie (Eugene) Wamboldt of Milton, Suzanne (Dale) Verge of Port Mouton; brothers, David (Ruth) of Yarmouth and Kirk of Bangs Falls.
He was predeceased by a brother Malcolm “Mackie”.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. No flowers by request, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. To share memories or condolences, please visit www.chandlersfuneral.com
