
FRAIL – Vivian Kathleen, 98, of Westfield, Queens Co. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in Queens General Hospital surrounded by her family.
Born January 21, 1920, in Westfield, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Effie (Smith) MacInnis.
Vivian was a teacher for 35 years and a lifelong member of the Westfield United Baptist Church, She enjoyed gardening and travelling She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother as well as the matriarch of her family and extended family.
She is survived by her daughter Connie (Lorne) Fancy; son Tom (Bunny Leal) both of Westfield; grandchildren Michael Fancy, Tina Mansfield, Kelsey Simms and Hayley Frail; great grandchildren Connor Mansfield, Jacob Fancy and Miley Huss; sisters Marguerite Cooke of Belleville On; Burdette Delorey of Halifax, N.S.
She was predeceased by her husband Perry, brothers Ronald, Colin and Duncan
Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. – 2 : 00 p.m. in Westfield United Baptist Church, Westfield with funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018. Pastor Royce Getson officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Westfield. Reception to follow in Westfield Community Center. Family flowers only, donations may be made to North Queens Fire Association, North Queens Community Health Center, Caledonia, Westfield United Baptist Church, or charity of choice.
