Frail;

FRAIL, Philip L., 60, of North Brookfield, Queens County passed away at Queens General Hospital, Liverpool after losing his battle with cancer on November 12th, 2011.
Born in Caledonia, he was a son of the late Harry and Dorothy (Smith) Frail.
Philip worked for many years as a fish cutter at both National Sea and Riverport Seafoods. He finished his working career in the woods working for various people. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Philip loved taking Blake fishing, and Brayden and Isabella loved taking his hands while touring his flower gardens. His passions in life were fishing and playing his guitar.
He is survived by his wife Christeen (Meisner), daughters Theresa (Robert Ernst) of North Brookfield, Elissa (Christian Cooper) of Amherstburg, Ont. and son Sheldon (Ashley Swinimer) of Branch LaHave. Grandchildren Blake Frail, Brayden and Isabella Ernst and Corbin Cooper. Sisters Judy (Randy) Himmelman, Barbara (Lindon) Meisner, Beverley (Murray) Hubley, Deborah (Doug) Mailman and Wendy (Carl) Hawkes. Brothers Richard (Barbara) and Brian.
He was predeceased by his sisters Joan Robar and Dianne Oickle, brother Wayne and nephew Michael.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A celebration of Philip’s life will be held at the Westfield Community Hall on November 19th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. No flowers by request, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or the North Queens Fire Department. The family would like to express thanks to Dr. Rafferty, Renate Bennett, Dr. Mogan, Dr. Abriel and Heather Cameron from Palliative Care, the V.O.N. and home support, the nursing staff of Queens General. You helped to end his journey with the best care possible. To family and friends for all your support through this journey…thank you.

    We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Philip’s passing. There are no words that can take away the pain you all must be bearing but trust in God to comfort you and give you strength to carry on. In earlier years John and Philip had some good times together during their days at Riverport Seafoods and on their numerous fishing excursions. Please accept our sincere condolences.

    Condolences to the Frail,Meisner and extended families..Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult and sad time..I never met Philip..but my son-in-law Terry Frail,is Philip’s nephew,Terry always talks fondly of the fishing trips,he took with his Uncle Philip,and his Dad..Wayne..who passed a few years ago-I told Terry it’s very sad to lose,someone we love,but I bet Philip and Wayne,are in there favorite fishing hole as we speak-It made Terry smile.it’s a very difficult time for the family,but you will always have your memories-and the promise from God,we will be together again someday-God bless I will be thinking of you all in the days to come,as you prepare to say good-bye…to your loved one….

    We are so very saddened to hear of Philp’s passing. Those who have viewed the video can see how he so loved his family and how you all loved him so dearly. Pls accept our condolences at this difficult time . He was one of the good guys and will be missed by all who knew him.

    To Aunt Christeen & Family ,
    There are no words that could take away the pain you are feeling at this time .Take great comfort in knowing that Uncle Philip’s passing has effected many people both in Caledonia and surrounding area.I have fond Memories from over years with my uncle and dad and Sheldon and some of the best fishing stories that i will have to last me a life time …..He was just all around awesome in my books.I understand the loss you are all going through .I like to say it will get better in time ..it gets easier to hide the pain .We are so sorry for your loss, your all in our thoughts and prayers .
