
FRAELIC – Moneta M., 94, of Caledonia, Queens County, passed away peacefully in North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia on Thursday, October 1, 2015.
Born in Caledonia, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Jessie (Foster ) Ball.
Moneta will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved to cook and bake and was well known for her sweet rolls. She was an active member of the Caledonia United Church and sang in the choir. She loved to play bingo.
She is survived by her daughters Linda Carter of Truro; Edith (Douglas) Crouse of Caledonia; Pamela MacIntyre (Norman Hum) of Halifax; her son Elwood (Theresa) of Orangeville, ON; grandchildren Blair, Gerry, Robbie, Amber, Curtis, Kyle, Melissa and great grandchildren Victoria, Nicole, Caroline, James and Roman.
She was predeceased by her husband Keith; son Brian; son in law Gerald Carter; sisters Myra; Thelma; Jennie; Brenda; brothers Foster and Robert.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral service will be Monday, October 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Caledonia United Church. Reverend Carol Smith officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Caledonia. Family flowers only, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
