Foster – Edward (Ted) Allan, Brooklyn, NS died peacefully on May 16, 2018, bringing to an end his incredible journey of 93 years.
Born May 13, 1925, the son of Edward and Alice (Redford) Foster.

He was predeceased by his sister Frances Moreton and his adopted brother Wendell Tidmarsh.
Ted joined the air force at a young age before working at Bowater Mersey Paper Company in Purchasing and Stores where he retired as Purchasing Manager in 1986.
Ted was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating. He was also actively involved with various sports such as ball, hockey and bowling. He was a member of the Atlantic Divers taking many pictures of laying underground cables and searching for “treasure” at Oak Island. He was member of the Liverpool Barbershop Quartet and loved music. In his retirement years he was an active member of the Queens County ATV Association and pursued interests in gardening and woodworking.
