FORREST – Frances Irene, 71, of New Grafton, Queens County, passed away peacefully in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater on Wednesday, June 10, 2015.
Born in Caledonia, Queens County, she was a daughter of Blanche (Mahoney) Conway of Caledonia and the late Francis Conway.
Frances loved scrapbooking, photo albums and collecting ornaments. She enjoyed house plants and having friends over to play cards. She also enjoyed talking on the phone; keeping in touch with family and friends. She will be fondly remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter Audrey Forrest (Wayne Zong) of New Grafton; her son Robert (Nicole Croft) of West Caledonia; her grandchildren Meghan, Bobby, Jacob and Clayton, her great-grandchildren Skylar, Reegan, Austin, Carter and Annie; her sisters Margaret (Peter) Waterman of Caledonia, Geraldine (Raymond) Crouse of West Caledonia, Sandra Conway (Bernard Power) of Caledonia, Barbara (Ricky) Frail of Harmony, Merna Conway (Jerry Muzzerall) of Vaughn, ON., Glenda Conway of Caledonia; her brothers Roger (Linda) of New Market, ON., John of West Caledonia, Donald (Anna) of West Caledonia, Gerald (Kathy Bungay) of Bridgewater, Michael (Marie) of West Caledonia.
She was predeceased by her husband Ira and her great-granddaughter Serenity.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, West Caledonia. Burial will be in Whispering Pines Cemetery, New Grafton. Family flowers only, donations may be made to North Queens Fire Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to any charity.
