Don was a good husband, father, and grandfather (he especially loved being around small children, his face would light up whenever they were around). It is with a heavy heart that I hear of the passing of my Uncle Donnie.Donnie was one of those larger than life characters who commanded attention whatever the situation.He reveled in having fun and had such a boisterous laugh that you could not help but laugh with him.He was always telling stories about the “good old days” and most of the time could barely get through the story without stopping to catch his breath from laughing.He and my dad had a lot of good times together and I am sure they are rekindling their times again in heaven.Mine and Kim’s hearts go out out to you Pat,Les,Darren and Corey and your families.He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered and I wish I could be there to honor him but unfortunately cannot.Take Care

I always remember Donnie as an out going person, and when he surrendered his life to Christ, you could see the peace of GOD with him.
I grew up living next door to Donnie, Patsy, Les, Darren, & Corey, & spent a lot of time in there home, & I can honestly say that no matter what happened there was love in that home. Once Christ became a central family member, there was HIS love in that home.
Donnie is going to be missed for sure, but I know everyone in that home will see Donnie again, and that will be a joyous gathering.
