To all of Ruth’s family, I would like to express my condolences. Ruth was a part of my growing-up years, and a valued member of the church. I recall many Sundays, sitting beside the three windows at the church, while she taught our Sunday School class. She was a lovely lady.

I remember my grandmother’s box of rhinestone brooches which I thought were real. She would say it was “paste,” but that had no meaning for me. I knew she was a queen in disguise. I have learned from that and will keep trying to apply it to my life. Keep sparkling wherever you are, Grammy. I am sorry that we are all reduced by losing you.

Dear Jim, Ann, and Family,
So sad to hear the news of Ruth’s passing. We always had good visits together when we lived in NS. She was our longest living Disciple and it was an honour to get to know her at least for the short time we were there. May God’s peace be yours now and always. With love, Jen, Gianni, Rita and Victor Garbin
I was very sorry to read about the loss of your mother, Anna. Just noticed it in the obituaries while looking at my cousin Bill Murphy’s obituary. Hopefully happy memories will see you through this difficult time. Best wishes!
