We have known Ellis forever. He always had a quick smile & said hello when he met you. For years he attended the fire dept”s breakfast & usually was the first to arrive. You would see him driving his truck everywhere. He will be sorely missed. Our condolences.

I was sorry to hear of Ellis’ passing. I used to live adjacent to his property and would meet him walking in the woods when I would snowshoe there in the winter or walk in the fall.
He was such a lovely person with a ready smile.

I have taught for several years at NorthQueens Rural High School and I am sure my coming and goings at the school at all hours provided great entertainment for him over the years. He had such a great smile and was so generous during fundraisers at the school. I remember one year he purposely mowed an area of his field for the graduates to get their group prom pictures done and then every year after he prepared this spot for the kids. Such a kind soul.
