When the angels took you away they were given a special gift cause while you were with us we were the ones receiving that special gift. When god made you he must have broken the mold after, cause you were the best nan a person could have. You may be gone but you will never be forgotten, you will live in our hearts forever, I know you and aunt Marilyn will be watching over us. My heart is broken now but knowing you are no longer in pain and at peace that gives me a little bit of comfort. love you now, love you forever, miss you more and you will never be forgotten xoxoxo

Mom. I was so lucky to have you for 73 years, all those years are filled with so many beautiful memories and love. I look back now and often wonder how you ever did it, you never stopped working, always thinking of us. The only time I ever saw you take time for yourself was to sit in the rocking chair with your cup of tea, that enjoyed so much. I am so thankful that we was able to talk on Skype over the last three years, I could see your smile, and you sang such beautiful songs to me, I will always cherish that special time we had . Many thanks to Karen Coulstring for making it happen. I am so happy that you are with Marilyn and Dad now, no more pain or worry, just fun times like we use to have. I love you all so much and miss you. You will always be in my heart. Rest in Peace Mother Dear HUGS XOXOXXOXO

Great Nan lived a long and beautiful life. I still remember visiting her when I was younger and sitting next to her on the couch while she showed me how to knit. I couldn’t get the hang of it but she was always patient and eager to show me one more time. Those memories and more will always be in my heart. Love you Nan! 🙂

To Kathleen’s family, so sorry for another loss, but you know Ma had to go take care of Marilyn as always. She was a real Mom; who thought only of her family and extended family. She was a beautiful lady and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to have spent time with her in the past few years. I remember her always as a kind, loving and giving person.
Dennis you were a lucky man to have such a great mother-in-law, I know you’ll miss her but have faith that her and Marilyn are up there watching over you all.
Corrina, you are just as special as Ma,you came from good genes and you are just as loving and kind as she was.Our prayers and thoughts are with you all now in this difficult time. God Bless you all.

I did not know Kathleen, but I know her wonderful daughter Mary, her grandchildren Belinda, Doran and Currie. I know there are no words to express how your family is feeling especially having to deal with two losses in such a short time. Just know that she is in heaven with Marilyn and they are together once again. From what I’ve been told she was a great mother, great grandmother and a great great grandmother. All the pictures that I have seen of her she was always smiling and looked beautiful. She will be missed every day by her family and friends. All I can say is Heaven has been blessed with a very special lady. Rest in peace Kathleen

She was at Risser`s Lane from the start with me, part of our foundation, there have been some special people who have made this foundation strong, it has definitely weakened with the loss of a very special lady. I will always remember her with happiness in my heart. May her family stay strong at a time like this, Kathleen is now at peace…………

Nanny, you will be missed. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
Even though most of our time spent together was when I was young child, I will always have found memories of relaxing with your during your evening tea, playing in your gorgeous gardens and the relaxing summer swing in your front yard. You were always a lady who we all treated with respect.
May god take your hand threw the golden gates of heaven and bless you forever

Nanny I want to thank you for the gift of love and all the happy memories you left us with. You were the strenght of our family always seeing the good in everyone no matter what they had said or done. As I sat by your bedside holding your hand and the tears rolled from my eyes. It hurt so much when we had to say our good byes. I did not want you to go. Heaven has another angel and I know in my heart you have asked God for a good view so you can keep an eye on a few. You will never be forgotten and always be in my heart. Love you and miss you Nanny

Mum, just wanted to wish you HAPPY MOTHERS DAY IN HEAVEN. Been almost a year now since you left, I still miss you so much, I think of all the good times we all had, it helps me to get through the days. Remembering when we was kids, you would make a potato salad with your home made dressing on it.We all would go across the road under that big maple tree and have a picnic, Dad would take a blanket and lie down, have a little nap.
Best days of our lives.
Enjoy your day Mom with Marilyn, tell her I love and miss her also.
Lots of love Mary—-May8th 2014

God gave me my Mother
And he tried to be fair
And when he gave me mine
I got more than my share
Although he took her back
One year ago today
I am so greatful for the years he let her stay
We will be together again

Sad was the parting, no one can tell,
So sudden on earth the sorrow fell,
The blow was hard, the shock severe,
To part with one I loved so dear,
Dearer still as years depart,
Her memory lives within my heart.
