I knew Pauwlina well in the earlier years. I visited your home on Waterloo many times when the boys were young. Played basketball with her after high school. Condolence from Lynn Kempton-Lowe on November 13th, 2018 6:44 pm

Dear Paul and family,
I was so saddened to read of Pauwlina’s passing. When Larry and I were first married, we lived just two doors away (in the big, brown house) and Danny John was best friends with Larry’s little boy, Larry Todd. Since that time, much has changed but both Larry and I always thought that Pauwlina was such a sweet and caring person.
We lost touch during the years that we lived away, but I remember you and Larry becoming friends when you had the little bakery and then started the shuttle service. We prayed for you and Pauwlina and the children often, as we knew that you were trying to cope with a lot of illness in the family.
Now, Larry is in the last stage of Parkinson’s (with dementia) and is in Queen’s Manor but I know that he would have wanted me to send our condolences to you and remind you that God is there to help you through this most difficult time.
Sincerely,
Lynn & Larry > xoxo

Condolence from Judy Cole on November 14th, 2018 6:54 pm

To all of Pauwlina’s family my sincerest sympathy……She and I met in Halifax in 1960 where we both worked at the Bank of Montreal, and soon became close friends. We lived in a rooming house near Pt. Pleasant Park and enjoyed walks and swimming there, after which we would enjoy tea in my room or hers. We both ended up living in Queens Co. and visited a lot when our children were small. As often happens, we saw each other less in recent years. I treasure her friendship. You have lost a very special lady and my thoughts and prayers will be with you during these sad days.
