Dalby – Myra S., (Roy), 80, of Waterville, NS formerly of Liverpool, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023 at Kings Regional Rehabilitation Center.
Born in South West Port Mouton, Myra was a daughter of the late William and Peggy “Evangeline” (Roy) (Roy).
Myra worked at White Point Lodge in her younger days as well as housekeeping in the Liverpool area. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures like spending time with friends and family, walking to downtown Liverpool to shop, music, dancing and watching the soap shows on TV. She had a big heart and loved to laugh, but suffered with mental illness for much of her life.
Myra is survived by her son Craig (Tanya) of Brooklyn, her daughter Nikki (Laurie) Canning and grandsons Liam and Riley of Caledonia.
Besides her parents, Myra was predeceased by her sister Phyllis McLeod.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS . A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in South West Port Mouton Community Cemetery.
