DALBY – Arthur Junior, 81, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 21, 2023 in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, surrounded by his family.
Born in Liverpool, Arthur was a son of the late Arthur and Florence (White) Dalby.
Arthur was a fisherman in his early years and was a member of the Canadian Coast Guard until his retirement. He was an avid Blue Jays fan and enjoyed working in his yard. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being on the water. He loved his scratch tickets, but, most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Arthur is survived by his wife Peggy (Whynot); his daughters Angela Dalby (Wayne Roy) of Hunts Point, Heidi (Joel) Rhyno of Shelburne. His sons Trevor (Amy Hurshman) of Liverpool and Troy of Bedford. His granddaughter Terri (Jordan) Laplante and his great-granddaughter Brielle. His sisters Deanna and Wendy Thistle of Liverpool. His brothers Terry (Lorraine) of Liverpool and Dennis (Susan) of Toronto, ON.
Besides his parents, Arthur was predeceased by his sister Eleanor “Snookie” Brady and his brothers Reginald and Francis “Sonny”.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. At Arthur’s request, there will be no funeral service. No flowers by request, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com.

He was always such a kindhearted man, every time I met up with him he never had forgotten who I was, even tho I was still pretty young when he knew me.
