So sorry to hear that Harry has passed. My condolences to his family. The first time I met Harry was when I was assisting with the restocking of the Christopher Lakes with trout from the McGowan Lake Fisher Hatchery. Harry was standing on the shore with about 130 other people. He had just caught his first fish of the season and it looked like it might get away. When Harry was pulling the line in, it broke under the weight of the fish. Harry jumped right into the water caught that fish bare handed. Both boots were now filled with water but the look on Harrys face was priceless. He looked me straight in the eye and said,”that one not getting away this year”. We both had a great laugh over that one. Happy fishing Harry. RIP.

So sorry to hear of Harry’s passing. He had quite a personality and a laugh that was infectious. I worked with Harry many years ago one winter at the then Town Works Department. You went home with a smile on your face after spending the day around Harry with the stunts he would pull. Always in a great mood. Even lately he would make sure when he saw you he wanted to have a talk and ask how you were doing. Take comfort in the many memories he has left you. Rest in piece my friend…

So very sorry to hear of his passing…he was always one of my favorite customers. He always had something smart aleck to say and he was always giggling going out the door. I remember once he pumped gas and went over by like two cents…I’ll give it to you next time he said…I said don’t be so silly…it’s two cents don’t worry about it…the next day he came in with a nickel he’d cut not quite in half as it was only two cents not three…lol…I still have it. I can quite honestly say it was one of the funniest things I’ve ever experienced there.

Geraldine, I am so sad to hear of Harry’s passing. I can remember the night that he and I almost blew the back porch off of Gramps’ house trying to get the Grill going. I have many fond memories of the two of you at the parties that we use to have at our place. Harry was such a kind and soft spoken person. I will keep you in my prayers. God Bless You.
