Some of the retired girls from the Manor get together once a month for a meal and every 2 months we would go to see Mike at Rosedale. They loved him there and he did too. Carol, Jenny and I got to see him 1 last time in September and I am so glad now that we went. We could not hug him goodbye as it was a social distance visit but he sure was glad to see us. Mike, I hope you are walking around and greeting everyone and you get to set up a work shop. I know your Mom was waiting for you with open arms and I know how much you missed her also. I am glad that us girls helped to make things easier for you and now there is no more pain. Rest easy my friend and I will think of you every time I look at my corner shelf you made me.

comittment to our Club and Community will never be lost from our hearts. We ask our Lions to give what they can
and Mike gave all he had, plus!. Most of all he brought his smile and desire to help others. Mike never said much
but when he did it was a voice of reason. We thank him for his service. We are all heart broken and again thank you

Dear Randy, Barry and Gail

It is with a sad heart I read of Mike’s passing. He was a great guy and I will remember him fondly as a colleague and a friend!

We had such fun at Queens Manor, he and Scottie were always good sports to indulge my crazy ideas and be a part of the good times at Queens Manor. He was a hard worker that would always go above and beyond in the call of duty. He was so kind to all the Residents and I know he made a valuable contribution to his family and friends at Rosedale Home when he lived there and to the community through the Lions Club! My thoughts and sympathies are with each of you.

To the family who have said goodbye: It is with a heavy heart that I stumble upon news of Mike’s passing. Not only was I privileged to be Mikes collegue at Queens Manor, but an even bigger privilege was to sing with Mike in the group “ Rhythm & Harmony!”
Mike had a beautiful voice; a love for his Lord, and a sweet and kind spirit! I know without a doubt where his soul dwells now! He is no longer suffering; he does not shed a tear. He is at peace. May the family and all of those people that knew Mike know he is in a wonderful place.

Condolence from Angela Roy on November 6th, 2020 6:28 am

Dear Randy, Barry, Gail and families

It is such sad news to all of our hearts to hear of the passing of such a kind and special man.
I know that everyone who knew him could only say beautiful things about him. As there truly wasn’t a more sweeter soul that has graced our lives.
At work he would always do whatever was needed and beyond, with his big heart ❤️
For staff and residents. Mike was always there for whom ever needed him.

He loved his family twice as much.
A wonderful example in my life of true humanity in motion. Kindness, grace and love enveloped this amazing man.
He has been given his great reward now and can finally rest. God has called him home.
How like him in his humbleness not to want a service.
To each of you, take care and know how much he loved you and how much we all loved him.
In love and friendship.
Angela and Jeff.
