Alexander Donly Croft

Croft, Alexander Donly, age 68, of Mill Village, Queens County, passed away on Monday, October 10th, 2016, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Liverpool, he was the son of the late Perry and Lydia Croft.

Alex loved to hunt and fish, working as a guide in his younger years. He also worked for many years as a stationary engineer at the IWK Children’s Hospital, in Halifax and later for Queens General Hospital in Liverpool. Alex dabbled in woodworking and was an avid amateur photographer. Above all else, Alex was most passionate about his family and spending time with them.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amy; son, Jason (Catherine) Croft, of Riverdale; grandchildren, Joshua and Ali; sister, Audrey Spencer-Croft, of West Melburne, Florida.

A Celebration of Alex’s Life will be held on Friday, October 14th, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., from Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, Nova Scotia. Reverend Bonnie Baird officiating. Family flowers only.
