
CORKUM: Vincent H., 65, of Danesville, Queens County, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 8th, 2014, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, NS
Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Errald and Shirley Corkum.
Vincent was a truck driver all his life, last working for G. E. All Trucking. He was a country music lover and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his early years. He also enjoyed woodworking in his spare time and was known as “good with wood” by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Louise (Weagle); his daughter Nancy (Meikal) of Wileville, his son Vincent Jr. (Pam) and step grandson Alex, of Lunenburg, his brother Gordon “Bubby” of Lunenburg.
Vincent was predeceased by his sisters Muriel, Marion and Shirley.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. At Vincent’s request, there will be no funeral service. No flowers, donations may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
