Karen, Ron & Family:
So sorry to hear of Onita’s passing. She was such a nice lady. Mom always
told us the stories of her and your mother going to school together. At one
time before Mom passed away, her an Onita were in the hospital at the same
time and Mom was so happy because the nurses took her down to see Onita
a few times. Keep all your cherished memories close and hopefully that
will help to heal your heart. Our Thoughts and Prayers are with you at this
most difficult time. Take Care.

I wish to send condolences to Karen, Fran and family. I use to play with you brother many years ago, went to school with you both and your mother became my step Grandmother. I personally only remember a family dinner with her and Grandfather Cook when I returned from living in Puerto Rico in the 1983 or 84. She out lasted all of my immediate family. To Mrs Cook’s Family,
To know your mom was to love her.and yes she loved her” bling”. Always ready to give a hug and that beautiful smile when ever our paths would cross. She was an ” adopted ” grandmother to most of every child in Brooklyn including my husband..He adored her, but who could resist for she had the soul of an angel. When our son was born she would make the comment ‘ I wonder if he knows what a fortunate child he is ‘. That wonderful sparkle in her eyes may now be closed here on earth but there is now a new star sparkling in our sky. We pray that knowing how much kindness and light she brought to others over so many years will help as you grieve the loss of this gentle lady. May the Lord be with you all. Our deepest sympathy.
