
Conway, Rosanna Mae, 87, of Westfield, Queens County, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 4th, 2014, at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in West Caledonia, she was a daughter of the late Roland and Effie (Doggett) Seldon. She worked as a CNA in Toronto and then for many years at the North Queens Nursing Home in Caledonia. Rosanna took great pride in her community and was happiest when she was volunteering her time to help others. She enjoyed gardening and could often be seen working on the family farm in her younger years. She was a member of St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, West Caledonia and the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, A.L. Patterson Branch #87, Caledonia. She is survived by her loving son, Thomas, at home. She was predeceased by her loving husband Peter; son William; sister Rhoda; brothers William and George. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A Celebration of Rosanna’s Life will be held on Thursday, May 8th, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., from St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, West Caledonia. Father Keith Billard officiating. Burial will be held in St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery. No flowers by request. my condolences go out to my cousin tommy . my aunt rose was one of a kind .. and had the spirit of no one else i now . , i spent a lot of my early childhood with her { they lived next door } i was there every day . and summered with her family and my aunt rhoda and uncle willis forrest and cousin wilma . when she retuned to nova scotia in the 1970s .. my memories of her are many many good times ,,,, and to many to mention here ,,,,,.if anyone wants to hear a funny aunt rose story .. come to my house this summer ..i have many … tommy so very .very sorry for your loss . will miss her terribly .andy seldon toronto
