I am so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed my visits to her home as far back as Bert being there and yes she was a wonderful cook. I learned how to make soup from her, just go in your spice cupboard and smell spice, if it smells like it can go in that soup then, in it goes. My condolences to Gretas family.

    Tammy and Bill,
We were so sad to hear of Greta’s sudden passing. We did not have the pleasure of knowing Greta as well as others, only having met her once, but we can attest to her kindness and hospitable nature during our visit to the south shore several years ago. The love you showed her and the care you provided her is an inspiration to us all. We know you loved her very much and we look forward to hearing all about her the next time we are together.
    Thinking of you….
Lots and lots of love, Guido and Wendy XOXO

    To Greta’s family,
So sorry hear of her passing. I always enjoyed my talks with about baking and how she would bake for months to contribute to the St. John’s Christmas Tea. Her squares were like a picture out of a book, I asked her one time how long it took to decorate each square. Her answer was too long but she loved to create a lovely looking piece of art. No one in our church has ever been able to make the type of masterpiece she could. She will be missed by many in her church. May your memories of her give you comfort in this difficult time.
