CARVER – Ann Louise, 51, of West Caledonia, Queens County passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012 surrounded by her family and friends.

She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving besides her mother is her brother Roy at home.
She was predeceased by her sister Donna.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 29th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery, West Caledonia. Father Brian Murphy officiating. No flowers by request. Deepest sympathy to the family.
Ann helped take care of my mother ( Flora Earley ) at the NQNH for many years.
As young children Ann, Donna and Roy played with my children when we were visiting N.S. in the summertime.

To the family and close friends of Anne
So sorry to hear of Anne’s passing, she put up a good fight against a horrible disease, taking far too many people before their time! I had the pleasure of working with Anne @ NQNH for many yrs, we had alot of good laughs, she was always there for whatever and whomever needed anything done!! Changing a tire, getting a car started, she was our “handyperson”!! I will never forget her coming to work with her “pepsi” ,she said her fuel to get her through the shift!! I will also remember her percisely ironed uniforms, the pants always had a crease, so sharp I would tease her, you could cut your finger on!!
Cherish all your good memories, they will get you through the rough times. R.I.P Anne, you are now free, to watch over those you hold dear to your heart!!!

To Ann’s family,
Pls accept my heartfelt sympathy at this very difficult time. You know, there are but a few people in this world who always step up to the plate , help those in need, show no malice to others and who can simply enjoy life to the fullest. This is part of who Ann was. I will always have fond memories of her from the years we worked at the nursing home and the little chats we had outside of work. She will be missed . Thanks Ann for the many years of friendship we shared. Rest in peace.

I was saddened to hear first of Ann’s illness, and then to read of her passing. She was a treasure when she helped to care for my Mother at the Nursing Home, and Mom thought she was a wonderfully caring person. We have to hope that Ann is in a better place, and free from pain. Her smile and twinkling eyes will remain in my mind …. my sympathy to her family.

Ann,
I don’t remember meeting you for the first time, you were just always there. You were so good to us when we were growing up, and even still as an adult, I always knew I could count on you to help me if I needed it. When we were kids you treated us as your own, brought us little treats, a bag of chips or a bottle of pepsi, we thought we had the world when you came to visit, there was always an adventure around the corner. Whether it be a quick drive to the store, or off on a wild goose chase with you and mom, there was never a dull moment! I can only imagine what people thought when they saw three little kids and one woman pushing another in a Mini to get it started! (This happened more than once) One of my favorite memories has always been the day you, Shirley and Donna took us to Liverpool for a trip. It wasn’t always fun and games though, if we were fighting you never hesitated to step in and put us in our place, but we never held it against you 🙂 When Katie was in Nursery School I got to see you often, you always took the time to push Katie on the swings when you picked up Hailey, she always told me that she hoped I would be a little late so she could have a swing or two. You will forever hold a special place in my heart, I am so sorry that you had to endure so much pain and suffering. I can only hope that you are now resting peacefully, and that you know how very much you have meant to so many people, and what a difference you made in many lives. ♥

With heavy hearts ,i send condolences to Shirley and Roy,and all of Anns family. Ann and I worked alot of evening shifts together over the years. We shared many good times and sad times.Ann was always the nurse we looked for if something broke on our shift. She was always there to help you out.Ann and I promised one of our residents that we would always look after his cat called Hazel. I guess that job is left for me Ann, but I will continue to take care of her and I am sure you and Henry will be looking down on us. To the family,it must be so difficult losing two girls in your family, but I am sure Ann is with Donna and her Dad and that would make her so happy.Rest In Peace Ann.You have fought a tough battle

I know it is not right to question why things happen but human nature certainly doesn’t make that easy for us. I worked with Ann a long time and there was no question in anyones mind that we always felt safe when she was with us because there was no emergency too big for her to handle. She was nursing, housekeeping, kitchen and maintenance there after hours when those departments had all gone home for the day. She could run that facility if she was the only one in the building. We laughed many evening til we cried with Ann on, the only woman I have ever know and probably will ever know who used motor oil for moisturizer on her hands. I thank Ann also for being such a good friend to my mom, she called her often and visited, and to mom there was no one like Ann. Our sincere condolences to Shirley, Roy and the extended family.
