Condolence from Ron Cusack on October 6th, 2018 9:23 pm

I will miss Ray. We had countless conversations in the aisles of the Sobey’s store Liverpool, and I always felt better after seeing him. He would often search me out, and we would share a greeting and an exchange of what was happening in our lives. Ray was always sincere in his interest of my well-being, and he traditionally ended the conversation by digging into one of his many pockets to find some candy to leave with me. I was always grateful for his time.

One story I would like to share, was from when Ray loved to go yard-sailing several years ago. He asked if there was anything I would like him to keep a lookout for. We had a piano stool in our home that was recently broken, so I asked him if he ever saw a piano bench, I would love to have one. Not long after, my family and I arrived home one day and discovered a piano bench sitting on our doorstep. I knew it was a gift from Ray.

Heather, my deepest condolences to you, hope to see you in person soon.

Ron Cusack

Mrs. Burke,
I got to know Ray/Clayton at the Nova Veterinary Clinic in Milton where I worked. He was the source of some funny moments and sure could talk up a storm about anything. He was so kind about getting me bread to feed my crows and ravens. I miss those days, however I have my memories and I know that you will in time remember only the good times you both shared! Rest In Peace Mr.Burke, I also salute you for your service. Bonnie.
