BROUGHM – Phillip M., 67, of Bridgewater, NS, passed away peacefully in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, on Saturday, May 1, 2021.
Born in Liverpool, Phillip was a son of the late Merrill Broughm and Faustina (Hammond)(Broughm) Wagner.
Phillip worked for Farnell Packaging in Burnside for 42 years retiring as shipper and inventory controller. He also worked part time with Chandlers’ Funeral Home and Ambulance service for over 7 years and BDC Courier for over 3 years. Phillip was an avid curling and hockey fan and a long time member of the Mustang Car Club in Halifax. Mostly, Phillip loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are his step-father Leander Wagner of Summerville Centre, his brother David (Jocelyn) of Branch LaHave, his nephew David, his nieces Candace and Kelley, his great niece Emily and his great nephews Zack and Jaymes as well as his extended family Nicholas O’Leary (his god son) and Benjamin and Cory Monk.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral home, Liverpool. At Phillip’s request, there will be a private family graveside service at a later date. No flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
