BOYLE – Evelyn Isabel, 91, of Caledonia, Queens County, passed away on December 10, 2015 in North Queens Nursing Home.
Born in Devonshire on July 10, 1924, she was a daughter of the late James and Hilda (Ennis) Boyle.
Evelyn lived her entire life in Caledonia and was employed at the Caledonia Post Office for over 25 years.
She is survived by her sister Mildred of Caledonia, her niece Loretta (Larry) Holdright of Dartmouth, her nephew James of Caledonia; great nephews Matthew, Mark, Lucas and Kyle and cousins Kathleen, Pamela and Peter Donnellan, all of Bridgewater.
She was predeceased by her husband Lorimer Boyle, her sister Pauline, her brother Paul and her cousin Tom Donnellan who resided with she and her father from the time he was ten years old.
Visitation will be Monday, December 14, 2015 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. and funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. both in St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, West Caledonia. Father Keith Billard officiating. Burial will be in St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations may be made to St. Jerome’s Catholic Church or to North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia.
