
Bodnar – Alexander “Alex” R., 90, of Mill Village, Queens Co. passed away peacefully at home on November 24th, 2014.
Born in Montreal, Quebec, he was a son of the late Josephine Bodnar.
Alexander served with the Merchant Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed hand-lining, painting, fishing, sailing and animals. He was a former member of South Shore District #10 Quebec Provincial Command, Royal Canadian Legion.
He is survived by his friends and caregivers Clarence Selig (Paula Reid) of Port Medway.
Visitation will be Wednesday November 26th, 2014 from 7 until 9 p.m. A graveside funeral service will be Thursday November 27th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Mill Village Community Cemetery, Mill Village.
