I am so sorry to hear of your moms passing. She and your dad were 2 of the most wonderful people I came to know over the years. I remember when my children were small and we went to church, your dad would always carry peppermint candy with him and as soon as we went upstairs both of the children would run right over to your parents and got their peppermint. Still to this day Nick and Julie Minard remember that when they went to church your parents would be there and they got a candy.
Remember all the good times and as time goes on, things will get a little easier. Then you will remember all the wonderful stories they told, you will laugh and cherish all the good times you had with them. May god bless you all in this time of sorrow.

Dear Leanne,Kelly,Kim and Shawna
I am sorry to hear about Mrs. Beck. I have fond memories of going to visit her with Cheryl and our Mom.
She was the first woman I knew that loved to watch football ( she had such s passion for the game.)
The quilts she made were pieced together with love and we still have one that she made.
Mrs. Beck was such a kind and gentle lady; she will be missed by many.
Love Aunt Jackie

To The Beck Family,
I was sad to hear of Mrs. B’s passing. She will always be in my heart as a lovely, smart, kind and elegant lady that I visited almost daily when I came home to visit my grandparents as a child. She loved her dog (Alexander Graham Beck, and later Ally McBeagle Beck), was kind and gracious to everyone, did the newspaper’s cryptogram daily and always kept a diary. She often said that one never wrote one’s deepest feelings in a diary because they would always be in one’s heart and mind – no need to write them down to remember. I think on that a lot. Mrs. B wrote my very first letter of recommendation – to use as a reference when applying for my first jobs in the working world. I have it still and can quote it from memory.Mrs. B kept a lovely flower garden and taught me – on foggy April mornings – how to walk softly around a garden and look deep into the ground to find the beginnings of new growth slowly rising up very early in the Spring. Mrs. B donated many lovely flowers for my wedding and people spoke of them for days afterwards! I have cherished the fact that I counted such a grand lady as Mrs. B as my friend. She will be dearly missed by her family and all that knew her, I’m sure. I will carry her spirit and grace in my heart always. Sincerely, Coleen

When my mother emigrated from England at age 72 in the 1980’s she started attending services at Zion and always sat with Mr. and Mrs. Beck. She often spoke of them, how welcoming they were to her and helped her settle into her new church family.
You are in my thoughts.

Dear Leanne and all the Beck family
I am so very sorry for your loss is great. She was a special &rare lady & I feel blessed to have known her. I truely do not believe that I ever heard her say anything negative about anyone for she always looked for the best in others.
Her smile could light up a room unless her foot ball team was losing 🙂 Leanne I know how hard this will be for you, but the days you just want to bury your head in the pillow get up & look in the mirror for I see her every time when I see you. May God be with you all and may your memories keep her close to you all. Take care, my condolences to you all. Zona
