Sorry to read of Florence’s passing. I worked at Dominion with her when I was a student. She was a kind, quiet efficient person we all enjoyed working with.

Effie and I read together just about every book L.M. Montgomery wrote When I was a volunteer at North Queens Nursing Home, and later at Hillside Pines. I wish I could have visited her more often. We did enjoy a good laugh together.

Debbie and extended family. I send my deepest condolences on our shared loss. Family was very important to my mother and through her I feel I know many of you even though we have never met. Getting to know my mother has enriched my life and my family’s lives. When we first met she made sure I got to meet my uncles and aunts who unfortunately has all passed on now. Even though we never got to spend a lot of time together because of the distance between us we both looked forward to our regular phone calls. Our conversations mainly consisted of family updates. My wife and I was fortunate to have visited with mom a few months ago. At that time we felt it would be our last visit together. Thankfully we got to see you Debbie at the same time. I am grateful for all you have done and is still doing for my mother! Unfortunately I am unable to be there with you today but my heart is with you all.
Sending you all our love from son Jim, wife Millie, Grandsons Josh ((Stephanie) Ryan (Laura) and great grandchildren Oscar, Leela and Ashton.

To Debbie: So sorry to hear of the loss of your Aunt. I know what it’s like to have an aunt that is special and loving. Their loss is on so many levels, not just physical, but a loss of all the history and stories and special times shared. Blessings and hugs to you.

Sending you my deepest condolences. I enjoyed my visits with Effie we had many discussions about farm life and horses. I was fortunate enough ,to be able to bring my percheron mares down to the home during the Exhibition week. I will never forget the first time my Ellie put her head on Effie’s lap. The smile on her face will never be forgotten. She used to tell me to take her pillow home and get some “horse smell” on it ! You will certainly be missed RIP my dear friend ….if you find my Amy give her lots of hugs Cindy
