ANTHONY – Wayne Thomas James, 59, of Milton, Queens County, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 6th, 2011.
Born in Milton, he was a son of Thomas Anthony of Milton and the late Irene (Jollimore) Anthony.
Wayne was a former employee of STENPRO before joining Michelin, Bridgewater where he worked for 34 years. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed hunting and doing mechanical work. We hope that wherever he is, he will get to meet the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. who he spent many years cheering on every Sunday.
Surviving besides his father is his wife Suzan (Freeman); daughters Patricia (Vincent “Jr.”) Whynot and Julie Anthony (Mike Millard), both of Milton. Grandchildren Holly and Colton Whynot, Madison and Dakota Millard. Sister Gail (Dr. Reverend Harry) Gardener of Kentville and brother Ronald (Rose) of Milton.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, At Wayne’s request, there will be no funeral service. No flowers by request, donations may be made to Queens General Hospital Foundation. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
