
Anthony – Douglas Basil; 73, of Mill Village, Queens County passed peacefully in Queens General Hospital on Friday March 1st, 2019.
Born in Liverpool, Doug was a son of the late Eugene and Verna ( Rafuse) Anthony.
Doug worked in the general store in Mill Village for ten years, then spent thirty years as a custodian at the Mill Village Consolidated School until his retirement. Doug also enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening in his earlier years.
Doug is survived by his brother Victor of Mill Village.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside memorial service will be held in the New Charleston Cemetery later this spring. No flowers, donations may be made to the Mill Village and District Fire Department. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com

Vic,I was with heavy heart to read of Doug’s passing. Oh can I ever remember how many times he made me laugh while at Liverpool Regional High school.
