Clayton Eugene Anthony

Anthony – Clayton Eugene, 78, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool with his loving family by his side.

Born in Milton, Clayton was a son of the late Edward and Helen (Anthony) Lowe.

He had an incredible work ethic and spent the majority of his life working in the woods. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as spending time with his family, a little gambling (playing the poker machines), hunting and fishing. Clayton was a very private person. He was strong, caring, and devoted to his family. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.  

Clayton is survived by daughter, Patty Anthony of Liverpool; sons, Tony (Wanda) Anthony of Liverpool and Matthew “Mackie” (Joy) Anthony of Brooklyn; step daughters, Donna West of Bridgewater and Crystal Gerbert of Kitchener, ON.; step sons, Terry of Quebec, Thomas, Tony of Moncton, NB.; grandchildren Alex Enslow and Samantha Enslow, Jonathan and Kyle Anthony, Stephen and Christopher Hiem, Thomas, Nicholas and Nicole Howard; step grandchildren, Kandi and Keysha Regan, Tyler Gerbert, Amy Gerbert, Erica Gerbert, Marcus Smith, Bianca Rudiski; great grandchildren, Bailey, Rayea, Damian, Christian, Alexis, Jackson, Addison, Brody, Brayden, Leander, Caleb, Madelyn and Myles; step great grandchildren Tanika, Keyona and Sophie; Sisters, Sylvia Whynot, Donna (Fred) Holburne, Rita Whynot; brothers, Vincent (Lillian) Lowe, Mickey Lowe, and Vernon (Mary) Lowe; close friend, Gordon West; many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Clayton was predeceased by his first wife, Christine; his loving companion of 48 years, Ardith “Ardie”; daughter, Victoria; great granddaughter, Victoria, his step son, Michael; brothers, Barry and Gordon.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A private family service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
