We will miss you Judy. You were always there when we needed you. You were like a second grandmother. Take care grandpa,
I will always remember the traditions before we went to live in Calgary. And it will strike me hardest because whether we were apart or not, it was always grandpa and Judy at christmas… christmas will never be the same now. Never. I keep having flashbacks of the christmases previous this one. How we would all get together, how Judy would liven up the holiday , always, and would work to make it perfect, and when i would act up when i was a kid, she would put me right. I will miss that about her. Rest in peace. Grandma.

Condolence from sheri Daniel on December 19th, 2009 10:10 am

Judy was a kind and loving person, she put everyone ahead of herself always thinking of others…….. she has been like a mother to me and my brothers, and a grandmother to all John’s grandchildren for the past 13 yrs as if we were her own. No matter what happened good or bad, you could always count on her…. It was very sad day for us when my dad and judy moved out to nova scotia but seeing their happiness this past year i was happy for them.I know all she wanted was to come back home and im glad that she is here with her family, this past couple of months I have not been able to be here and no what they were going through . i will never forget all she had done for this family and my father. he has had a rough couple of years with his health and she stood by his side and took care of him through everything. even thorugh judys sickness in the hospital and everything she still thought about everyone else and preparing christmas cards for the grandchildren Judy is very loved by this family and will be greatly missed we will never forget what you have done for us and my dad and for that we will love you always.
sadly missed by the daniel family…

Condolence from Frank, Debbie and Sonya Wamboldt on December 19th, 2009 3:17 pm

The world has truely lost a great person. Judy was a kind and very caring person. She, John and Shannan were a part of our family. The news of her passing was shocking. She cared more about others then she did herself. Her last few weeks on this earth were of her worrying about her family and friends, not of herself. Judy was always someone you could count on and feel her love always. We always took the time to go visit them when they lived in Ontario. Judy had always made her door and her heart open for everyone. If ever you needed someone, you could count on her to be there for you. We will forever hold you close to our hearts. John and Shannan, if you ever need anything we will be here for you always. We will always remember the good times we had with you, Judy. May god welcome you with open arms and may you finally rest in peace. We love you Judy.

I wrote this not long after Judy passed away But I noticed the spelling mistakes and wanted to fix them

We lost a wonder loving and caring person in our family today…my heart is breaking. But the GOOD LORD KNEW IN HIS WISDOM That it was time to stop her suffering! You will be missed always Judy I love you and So does everyone else in the Family! I wish I could be by your side John! Just as you and Judy always have for me and everyone in my family! *Hugs* Thank God she isn’t suffering anymore.
I will always remember the fun we had over the years in the leaf, The Queens and in our own back yards! Judy had a heart as big as she was just like my Aunt Marina {John’s Mother}. Judy was always there for me and my family All I ever had to do was call and Her and John were there! They stood by me through some really rough times over the years! Judy …was always like a sister to me not just family/friend! I will always remember how she was there for me and my Dad too! My father had more love and respect for Judy that most people and family members He loved her So much . Judy will always live on in our hearts, thoughts, and Prayers! She was so special! and loved by all who knew her
My thoughts and prayers are with you John and with the family.
My you rest in peace Judy! We all loved you so very much and you will always have a place in our hearts.
Sharron and Peter Lawson

Condolence from Viola Betts on December 27th, 2009 1:47 pm

John and Shannon, At this time of sorrow, may you find comfort in your memories. Judy was a very nice lady with a big heart and a joy to be around. I visited with you both at your home in Niagara Falls, when Frank and Debbie and I came to to see you. It was a pleasure to get to know Judy, and both of you. I would like to share a favorite phrase with the both of you…it goes like this:
” Your memory is our keepsake with which we’ll never part,
God has you in his keeping, we have you in our hearts.”
May this little phrase bring you both a little comfort.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Viola
