Condolences for the family of “Wylde, Genesta”

Condolence from Elinor Selig Roberts on June 22nd, 2010 12:29 pm

To Genesta’s family –
Genesta was a dear friend of mine for many, many years. I will miss her calls and our visits so much. She was such a knowledgeable person and even as she got up in years, her mind remained so sharp. She was a remarkable lady and I will miss her.

Condolence from Ward Cunningham on June 23rd, 2010 3:59 am

My heartfelt sympathy to the family on the passing of a most delightful and impressive lady. Genesta retained a wonderful memory of her life and those around her, and always recalled those events which touched her life and that of her family and friends. We shall always treasure our memories of her.

Ward and Joyce C.

Condolence from Roger Cunningham on June 23rd, 2010 7:27 am

With a sorrowful heart I offer sympathy to the family, and I urge them to reflect not only on what she meant to them, but what great memories others have of this one-of-a-kind woman. Who else do you know that had a robin for a pet? Among other virtues, she reflected her father who was, without argument, unique. Please join me in a moment of reflection on the joyous reunion she is now having with those who went before. God bless her and all those that knew her.

To Genesta’s family-She lived next door to us-when we lived in Port Medway-back in the early 90’s-She was on one side of us-and Mrs. Wambolt-on the other side-She was a very nice lady-who I visited from time-to time-I remember her pet robins-who she feed worms to daily-They were robins, she raised from babies-birds that fell out of there nest-that Mommy wouldn’t look after-She was a lover of nature, and wild life-she had a great respect for both-Funny we were talking about her last week-I knew she was living in the manner-and wondered-if she was still alive-When I read the obituary’s this week-I seen her name listed-She lived a wonderful blessed life-we should all be so lucky-I just wanted her family-to know we remember her fondly-God Bless..!!

Condolence from Bette Ann (Manthorne) & Jim Wigglesworth on June 24th, 2010 7:37 am

To Genesta’s family –
We will miss her so much. Such a dear friend to all of us including my late father, Herbert Manthorne of Port Medway. Through their friendship and many visits together, we too became such great friends, so taken with her stories and wonderful memories of days gone by. Her faithful calls to us over the last few years always showed such concern for the well being of those around her. We will forever feel a void knowing that she is no longer with us. Our condolences to her entire family and her dear sister Evelyn too.
