Roy – Phyllis Isabel., 87, of Port Mouton, Queens County passed away peacefully in Queens Manor, Liverpool, on July 10th, 2014.

Born in Southwest Port Mouton, Queens County, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Lula (Allison) McLeod.

Phyllis loved music especially country music as well as gardening, baking, quilting, embroidering and hooking mats. She always welcomed everyone into her home and was known for her deep devotion to God. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Dale (Jim) Smith of Dartmouth, sons Rocky (Viola) and Timothy (Colleen) both of Port Mouton, grandchildren Clenton Macleod (Marie Crawley), Eastern Passage, Quinten (Andrea) Roy, Port Mouton, Tammy Densmore (John Huphman), Port Mouton, Bridget (Mike) MacLeod, Hunt’s Point, Erin (James) Conrad, Port Mouton, Susie Faulkner, Ottawa, ON, Lori Koszegi (Toby Colp), Beach Meadows. Great grandchildren Katelynn MacLeod, Joel Macleod, Julia MacLeod, Jenna MacLeod, Lauren Dexter, Casey Roy, Hannah Roy, Rayna Roy, Kayleigh Roy, Keara Densmore, Jacob Conrad, Ryan Conrad, Meghan MacLeod, Connor MacLeod, Garret MacLeod, Zachary Faulkner, Gabriel Faulkner, Marrissa Robar and Tristan Robar. Her sisters Helen Seaman and Thelma Yeliga , both of Coleman, AB., Lois Curtis of Blairmore, AB., Brother Roma of Nanaimo, BC., Aunt Barbara Beamish of Oliver, BC.

She was predeceased by her husband Sterling, her daughter Polly Koszegi and her brother Albert.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool where visitation will be Sunday, July 13th, 2014 from 7 until 9 pm and funeral service will be held Monday, July 14th, 2014 at 11.00 am. Bishop Ryan Fraser officiating. Burial will be in Southwest Port Mouton Community Cemetery, Southwest Port Mouton. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Southwest Port Mouton Cemetery or Queens Manor Resident Family Council. Online condolences to the family may be made at www.chandlersfuneral.com.
