LEGGE – Jeanette M., 67, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 31st, 2010.
Born in Milton, she was a daughter of the late William and Maizie (Robar) McCoombs
Jeanette loved baseball and enjoyed going to local games. She also enjoyed bowling and attending “Friday Night Fever” at the local Legion. She was a member of the Canoe and Camera Club in Milton.
She is survived by her daughter Janice (Dwayne) MacLeod of Liverpool. Her sons: Jamie (Sandy), Fairn (Valerie) and Stephen (Norma), all of Milton. Seven grandchildren. Her sister Debra (Rick) Wamboldt of Milton.
She was predeceased by her husband John and her sister Hazel Sherman.
Visitation will be Monday, April 5th, 2010 from 7 until 9 p.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool where a funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 6th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. Burial will be in Milton Community Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Royal Canadian Legion Mersey Branch #38, Liverpool or to the Canoe and Camera Club, Milton.
